The precise nature of Vaser allows us to target problem fat that may not be affected by diet and exercise alone. Vaser Liposuction uses ultrasonic energy along with an injected tumescent solution to emulsify fat deposits in a problem area. Vaser Lipo uses minimal incisions for targeted treatment. This unique process provides a way to remove fat more efficiently and with considerably less pain and bruising.
As a result, our patients see a sleek and slender contour immediately after their surgery. We can use Vaser to treat common problem locations on the body including the thighs, hips, abdomen, love handles, knees, back, arms, neck, and chin. The procedure itself is quite simple and very precise. Through small incisions, Dr. Hazen inserts a probe to soften the excess fat tissues to make them easier to remove. Then, she uses a cannula attached to a suction machine to gently sculpt the area. Vaser Lipo specifically targets fat cells while avoiding the nearby nerves, blood vessels, and connective tissues. Results are usually visible immediately after the procedure and continue to improve during the healing period, which is shorter than that of a traditional liposuction surgery.
