Although there are many highly qualified male professionals in the field of plastic surgery, there is something to be said about those who are female. Throughout my years of practice, I have found certain unique advantages as a woman while meeting with prospective patients. Specifically, I find that to identify with a patient, it helps to empathize with their perspectives and their concerns.
Plastic surgeons are predominantly men. This only poses a problem for those female patients who feel uncomfortable expressing discontent about their body to a male. As a woman, I empathize with the particular insecurities and frustrations that women have about their bodies- from facial aging to small/asymmetrical breasts and wide hips. Generally, I can physically relate to what my patients are experiencing. My female patients feel more at ease with me and therefore may be more open about their concerns and desired outcomes. I have found that my patients appreciate my effort to listen to their problems and decide on treatments that will suit best suit them as individuals. My patients know that I fully understand their concerns and are therefore more comfortable and relaxed throughout the entire surgical process.
If you are interested in any plastic surgery including but not limited to facial skin resurfacing, nose surgery, breast enhancement liposuction or tummy tuck surgery, I vow to be completely dedicated to your safely and satisfaction. I encourage you to schedule an appointment at my Princeton, New Jersey office to further discuss your procedure(s) of choice. I genuinely thank you for your interest in Hazen Plastic Surgery P.A..
