Thermi250 for Cellulite Reduction

What is Thermi250?
Non-invasive Thermi250 treatments work by targeting radiofrequency energy to the cellulite underneath the skin, breaking down fat to give patients a smoother skin texture without the need for surgery. Thermi250 can also tighten and tone the skin.
How does Thermi250 work?
Using safe radiofrequency energy, Thermi250 is able to break up the pockets of fat underneath the skin that push upwards and result in the dimpled appearance of cellulite. By increasing collagen production and applying gentle heat deep in the structural layers of the skin, Thermi250 treatments can result in a smooth and even skin texture almost anywhere on the body.
Why Thermi250 is different
Thermi250’s energy is able to affect separate tissue depths at the same time because it emits both bipolar and monopolar energy. In addition, the procedure utilizes two different methods of temperature regulation to protect the patient’s skin during treatment.
Thermi250 treatment details
Thermi250 does not require any anesthesia. The procedure uses an external hand-held device to deliver the radiofrequency heat energy directly into the skin in a fast-paced circular motion.
The device is warm to hot, and very tolerable. Most patients even describe it as feeling like a hot stone massage. The technology will auto-adjust the temperature to get the best results and efficiency. Treatment time will last no longer than one hour. We recommend 3 to 6 treatments spaced two weeks apart.
Candidates for Thermi250
During your consultation, Dr. Hazen will determine if Thermi250 is right for your specific aesthetic goals, or if another treatment would be better. Those who should NOT have Thermi250 treatments are individuals who:
- Have a defibrillator, pacemaker, or other metal in their body
- Are pregnant
- Have an active infection
- Have serious medical conditions
