What is dermaplaning?

Dermaplaning is the process of gently exfoliating the top layer of your skin with a surgical blade. This will remove dead skin cells and “peach fuzz” with no down time. Here at Hazen Medical Spa, we love this procedure because it allows for products to better penetrate into your skin.

Will the peach fuzz grow back darker?

No. Your hair will grow back exactly the same as it is before the treatment.

What can I expect after dermaplane?

Dermaplaning is non-invasive and it has a low risk of complications. You can return to your regular activities immediately.

Can I combine dermaplane with other treatments?

Yes! Dermaplaning is great when combined with chemical peels or laser treatments. Removing the outermost layer helps whatever rejuvenating treatment that follows penetrate deeper. At Hazen, we recommend combining dermaplaning and a light chemical peel, Hydrafacial, or a Hazen Signature Facial.

NOTE:
